It has been speculated for a while what John got the idea for Marble Mania got from. It would look suspiciously like the YouTube show Jelle’s Marble Race, in which marble fanatic Jelle Bakker rolls his balls. In addition, there is talk of a deal between John and Jelle, but it would have been rejected by the Talpa boss at the last minute. Beau also got it all and made it into his program RTL Exclusive looking forward to the media family member.

Francis van Broekhuizen and Gerard Joling had to guess from Beau whether the rumor that John had transferred 1.8 million to Jelle was correct. The monkey soon came out of the sleeve. “The answer is not true. If only it were true,” Beau says. The panel members are appalled by this and ask for an explanation. The presenter called Jelle’s YouTube marbles show the ‘original’ and Marble Mania a copy of it. “If you compare them both, you see really big differences,” Beau explains sarcastically. “Here you see that container with water at the end and John has that too. A child can still see the difference: the water is completely different. One is tap water, the other is ditch water”, he gives as a cynical example.
