Beats top seed Arav Deep of Bihar in semi-finals –

Patna, 16 October. Arav Deep of Bihar created a stir in the boys category of the All India Ranking Under-12 Boys/Girls Tennis Championship being hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy under the auspices of Bihar Lawn Tennis Association. He entered the semi-finals by defeating the tournament’s top seed Ayushman Pathak of UP in the quarterfinals. In the boys category, only Aarav Deep from Bihar has entered the semi-finals.

All four players who reached the semi-finals in the girls category were from Bihar. Bihar’s Pranay Kashyap, Aashi Shamra, Paridhi Thakur and Shivang S entered the semi-finals by defeating their respective opponents. Only Arav Deep of Bihar secured a place in the semi-finals of the boys category.

Boys Singles Quarterfinals

Aarav Deep (Bihar) defeated Ayushman Pathak (Bihar) 0-6, 6-4, 6-2, Kumar Kautilya (Chhattisgarh) defeated Kumar Anshuman (Bihar) 6-0, 6-2, Akshay Singh (Uttar Pradesh). beat Kavin Ojha (Bihar) 6-1, 6-4, Ayaan Rahman (Assam) beat Ankur Alok (Bihar) 6-1, 6-3.

Girls Singles Quarterfinals

Prannoy Kashyap (Bihar) defeated Kiva Srishti (Bihar) 6-0, 6-0, Aashi Sharma (Bihar) defeated Divya Shri (Bihar) 6-4, 6-4, Paridhi Thakur (Bihar) defeated Vaishnavi Poddar (Bihar) ) 6-0, 6-0, Shivangi S (Bihar) defeated Advika Verma (Uttar Pradesh) 7-5, 6-1.

Boys Doubles Quarter Final

The pair of Ayushman Pathak (Bihar) and Akshay Singh (Uttar Pradesh) defeated the pair of Atharva Rai and Ankur Alok (Bihar) 6-0, 6-3, the pair of Vedansh Vaidya (Bihar) and Sairansh Jha (West Bengal) defeated the pair of Aarav Rai and Ankur Alok (Bihar) 6-0, 6-3. Dhandhania and Kriyansh Jugnu (Bihar) defeated the pair 6-4, 6-4, Ariz Saikia (Assam) and Ayaan Rahman (Assam) defeated Shitiz Prasad (Maharashtra) and Shivansh Singh (Chandigarh) 6-0, 6-1, The pair of Kumar Kautilya (Chhattisgarh) and Arav Deep (Bihar) defeated the pair of Pranjal Srivastava (Bihar) and Shivansh Singh (UP) 6-1, 6-1.
