Beats KPK Rutan Officers until they are noisy with Novanto in Lapas

Former Secretary of the Supreme Court, Nurhadi, having a dispute with a convict of mega-corruption e-KTP, Setya Novanto. Prior to this dispute, Nurhadi had also beaten an officer of the KPK Detention Center.

Dispute between Nurhadi and Novanto is said to have happened a long time ago and is now finished.

“The dispute is over, it’s an old incident,” said Head of Public Relations and Protocol of the Directorate General of Corrections (Pas) Rika Apriyanti when asked for confirmation, Wednesday (2/3/2022).

It is known that Setya Novanto and Nurhadi were both executed in Sukamiskin Prison. Novanto served 15 years in prison for corruption e-KTP.

Meanwhile, Nurhadi was sentenced to 6 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 3 months in prison. Nurhadi was proven to have received bribes and gratuities related to the handling of cases amounting to Rp 49 billion.

Prior to the dispute with Novanto, Nurhadi had also beaten an officer at the KPK detention center. The following is a trace of Nurhadi’s controversy.

Nurhadi Hits KPK Detention Center Officer

Last year, an officer of the KPK Detention Center was suspected of being the victim of a beating by Nurhadi, who is a defendant in a bribery case, Nurhadi. The victim reported it to the police.

The report on Nurhadi was carried out on Friday (29/1/2021), at around 18.30 WIB. Reporting is accompanied by the KPK Legal Bureau. The prison staff has also been examined by the hospital doctor.

On Monday (1/2), the police carried out a case development degree. This was done to study the case.

Nurhadi himself was questioned by the police on February 4, 2021. Nurhadi’s examination was carried out at the KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta. Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Jimmy Christian Samma said that Nurhadi’s motive for hitting the prison officers was emotional.

“It’s just emotion when there’s a conversation that doesn’t fit, doesn’t fit. So the reported person gets emotional and beats him up,” said Jimmy.

“It means he is emotional, there are movements like beatings,” continued Jimmy.

However, this case has not been reported again after being constrained. At that time, the police needed permission from the Tipikor judge to examine other witnesses in the case.
