Piano art from Bach to poetry
Last year we were really looking forward to this debut: Beatrice Rana was to come to us in the Rheingau for the first time. But postponed is not canceled – and so we like to wait a little longer, because the reputation that precedes this artist is extremely promising. She is one of the most extraordinary pianists to have drawn attention in recent times. Her playing is characterized by strength and tenderness at the same time, it is just as well thought out as it appears completely natural. The best conditions for Frédéric Chopin’s poetic art, which the Italian gets involved in for us. But even in a program that stretches between the romantic and early modern periods of French music, Rana shows that all piano art is measured by Johann Sebastian Bach.
