Desperate. And despairing. Giuseppe Garibaldi never misses an opportunity to show himself miserable in every aspect of himself. At the beginning of the episode he earns a block to babble about the feelings that he perhaps still feels towards Beatrice Luzzi. Inexplicably, the two actually had a flirtation. A past, buried flirtation, which also ended badly. But it manages to become urgently relevant again now that the red competitor is on the verge of becoming the first finalist of this edition (then, it will really happen). The janitor of the same name, therefore, opens his languid heart to Alfonso Signorini and reveals: “I would have liked to share this journey with her, then things went differently. When we get closer, I put the past, what happened between me and her, into oblivion.” Beatrice, fortunately, remembers everything very well. Let’s also imagine the moment in which her little man questioned her as her mother: “She doesn’t give a damn, not even about her children! Who knows what they will think when they see her on TV kissing someone!”. Luzzi doesn’t laugh in the face of the improbable Garibaldi just because she, once again, is a lady. The Federico model is officially the (involuntary) comic line of the reality show. Last Wednesday he opened up to Alfonso Signorini, recounting his difficult childhood (?) As a former “child prodigy” who “at seven years old was already skydiving in Tunisia”. Now a new scandal overwhelms him: his roommates accuse him of drinking too much milk “with indifference towards others”, specifies Perla Vatiero, always punctual when a good word needs to be put in. Someone, out of spite, hides the proteins from him. Perhaps Alessio who retreats from the accusations with a mocking smile. Federico, at this point, bursts out, shouting: “Do you mean that one of my values is dishonesty?!”. Then he goes to the confessional carrying with him six bottles of milk of one liter each, to demonstrate how he hadn’t finished it all. Nobody puts up with it anyway. Or maybe it’s just fun to prod him and watch him go crazy, who knows. Later, during the episode, there is room for a dreamlike story from ours: “Alfonso, last night I dreamed of being on the subway. A man stopped me to ask me ‘Why did you give up?’. And I realized that I had given up on this game, that I hadn’t been brave. I no longer believed it, not even when I saw a plane dedicated to me pass over the house. I don’t know how many people have done it, but whether it’s two or two hundred, I will continue to fight in here for them! There was a little scene that aimed to be funny. Since the test to secure the weekly budget would take place in an Odyssey-themed swimming pool (?), the host wanted to test the contestants on the Homeric poem. In particular, Greta and Perla from Temptation Island showed themselves to be very bleating: “I liked the one with the eye in his head… What was his name? Ah, Poseidon!”, exclaims the first. While the second pronounces “Humerus” as if it were one of the bones of the body, the one near the shoulder blade. “But many others didn’t know this story”, specifies Vatiero because, apparently, common ignorance is still worth half joy. At the end of the episode, the support of the only commentator Cesara Buonamici for such incompetence is surprising: “Alfonso, it’s normal that they don’t know the Odyssey! School has changed so much since our times, today Homer is no longer studied!”. Signorini tries to protest but it is now past one o’clock and she has to close the program. Unfortunately for Buonamici, culture, like mathematics, is not an opinion. And even if it were, we are certain that ours would manage to get it wrong.
Mughini voice of truth, “There was no competition for the finalist”: vote 8
Giampiero Mughini is the commentator that we deserved – and then, fortunately, we had – in this dull edition of Big Brother. In the running for the title of first finalist contestant on the reality show were Massimiliano Varrese, the man who brought hip hop to Italy, Rosy Chin, someone who cooks a lot, Grecia Colmenares, the face of 33 telenovelas who however did not speaks half a word in our language and Beatrice Luzzi, absolute protagonist since day zero. “Alfonso, do you want me to make three enemies for life?” This is how the bespectacled intellectual responds when Signorini asks him his preference. In the end, as always, televoting decides and elects, without major surprises, Beatrice Luzzi. Mughini comments: “Very fair result, but I have the impression that a real race was missing. Beatrice could only be the first finalist!”. We agree. Luzzi stands out for his overwhelming majesty. And good for her. But this makes the challenge between the roommates less exciting. Eh, if only the authors had managed to put together a capable cast!

The soap opera between Mirko and Perla must painfully continue and, apparently, it is still not enough in itself. In fact, in order to make it interesting in some way, the authors try again to give it the geometric shape of the triangle. Third annoying, in this case, Alessio Falsone who has the only fault of being a person with whom Vatiero willingly chats. “But without any physical contact,” specifies the girl. “And we would miss her!”, echoes Mirko from the studio. Mirko who, let’s remember, is no longer her boyfriend. The two have become closer again, they have decided – without even exchanging a real kiss – to give their relationship “off the cameras” a new chance. Meanwhile, Perla is so eager to relive this newfound sentimental happiness that she refuses to leave the house even immediately, just to hug her beloved again and proceed with the life together to which they would be, heart to heart, destined (by script). Meanwhile, ours never misses an opportunity to perform the usual martyrdom of the Italian language: “If I would have behaved… Erm… If I had behaved… In short… If I behaved”, she limps miserably. How Mirko can then allow himself to be jealous of Alessio, like anyone else, after leaving her for a temptress, Greta, whom he met for five minutes on Temptation Island, remains a very deep mystery.
Beatrice Luzzi first finalist, a well-deserved triumph: vote 9
“I couldn’t have chosen a better competitor,” Alfonso Signorini tells her, forgetting that he treated her like a fish in more than one disastrous live broadcast. Be that as it may, justice is done: televoting elects Beatrice Luzzi as the first official finalist of this edition. The redhead actress also won due to the lack of opponents worthy of her: as Giampiero Mughini implied, it must not have been difficult for her to triumph over Massimiliano Varrese, Rosy Chin and Grecia Colmenares. A very predictable result. This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t deserve all the compliments that come with it: since day zero, she has overcome every type of harassment from her roommates, continuing to hold the reins of the game firmly, if not of the entire reality show which, without her, would be too often he would have nothing to talk about. She’s not always right, but she knows how to play very well and, in fact, she established herself as the absolute protagonist of the entire edition. That she’s going to win? Also considering the sad fauna that populates the walls of Cinecittà, one can certainly hope so.

Simona Tagli, essentially just arrived, was able to immediately establish herself as a protagonist, as a brawler and more, inside the Big Brother House. Since she had been brought up in various discussions by third parties, her daughter Georgia, her eighteen-year-old girl, goes to visit her mother. The meeting between the two appears very tender, but as soon as Alfonso Signorini allows himself to ask the girl a few questions, her mother answers for her: “Seduction? Georgia still doesn’t seduce anyone. Also because she jerks off every aspiring boyfriend.” “What plans do you have for the future?
