Two passengers on an American Airlines flight, which on Monday made the connection between Las Vegas and Charlotte, were involved in a beating scene due to the seats and the refusal to use the mask.
According to DN-Lisboa, it all started with an argument about the places, but it rose in tone after one of the women refused to wear a mask. After a few punches from both parties, the woman was escorted out of the aircraft by the police.
Jack Ross, the individual who recorded the video shared by the woman on Twitter, told CNN that he was sure there was confusion when the woman took off her t-shirt. “I thought, there is no pool here, this is going to be weird,” he said. “Then it became a punching fight,” he added to the same source, cited by DN.
The same source says that according to the airline, the woman “refused to comply with the mandatory mask wearing policy after entering the device and before departure”. Thus, American Airlines added in a statement, “according to our policy, the passenger was asked to leave the aircraft and she became conflicted, which resulted in an altercation with other passengers.”
