Jan Kietliński is the fruit of Beata Tadla’s relationship with the journalist Radosław Kietliński. Their marriage ended in 2014, but together they make sure that their son does not lack anything in his life.
In January, Tadla’s son turned 19. The journalist is very close to her son and has repeatedly emphasized that she is very proud of him. This year he passed his high school diploma and he dreamed of going to study abroad. Unfortunately, his plans for the future have been thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic.
– COVID has verified many of our plans. Janka might not be in Poland now, but the plans had to be adapted to reality, and also those related to the future. That is why we are waiting for the results of the matura exams and we will start recruitment, for now at universities in Poland – Beata Tadla told Fakt in July.
Recently it turned out that due to the pandemic she will have a son closer to her, now Jan Kietliński has learned what coronavirus is. Beata Tadla’s son informed on Instagram that he fell ill with COVID-19.
Jan Kietliński described the history of his illness in detail
The 19-year-old accurately described his entire medical history on InstaStory. His symptoms resembled a common cold. However, he decided to see a doctor because they occurred suddenly and, additionally, he had a high fever from his legs.
“Three days ago I woke up sick. I had a cough, a fever and a dry throat. These were symptoms of a common cold, but what was worrying was that there was absolutely nothing to be sick. I felt great the day before, and usually ‘something takes me’ a few days before! ” he began his story.
“After consulting a Lux Med physician, I was told to see my GP (Primary Healthcare). I did not know if I had such a doctor, so I went to a nearby clinic, which I used as a child, to make a declaration and obtain such a doctor. On the spot, the ladies made a fuss about them, claiming that because of me they would close the clinic. They made me wait outside until they found out what to do next. After a few minutes, they opened a window from the first floor and told me to stand in the bushes to inform me that I did have a primary care doctor there, who would call me the same day and tell me what to do next, ”he continued. “I was standing in the bushes and they shouted at me from the window,” he emphasized.
“The doctor informed me by phone that the system for ordering tests in the clinic is not working, so I have to go to an infectious diseases hospital and perform an examination from the street. I could have done it 5 hours earlier, but it’s hard, I’m not picking on – this is our climate. (In addition, the doctor is very nice and I can keep in touch with him in case of any questions) ”- we read on his next InstaStory.
“In the infectious diseases hospital, I found empty tents and stray people with questionnaires. Everyone was waiting for their smear and test. Medical equipment inside, some chairs, no information. It was evening. It was cold and I had a fever of almost 39 degrees, so not being informed and waiting outside was not very pleasant for me. I went to the ward to say that it was very cold there, so the nurse told me to wait and said: You had to get dressed, not come without socks “- continues his story.
Tadla’s son suspects where he is infected. Now he warns others
In the end, the journalist’s son got his turn. He had a swab taken and was allowed to go home. Chilled and weakened by high fever, he fell asleep. He learned the test results the next day.
“Finally, after an hour of waiting, I was tested. I went home in shivering, fell asleep, had a high fever, but sleep and anti-inflammatory drugs helped me. The next day I felt much better, but… It turned out that I have COVID-19 ”- confessed Janek on InstaStory.
The 19-year-old suspects where he may have contracted the coronavirus.
“Now I have 10 days of isolation in my apartment. I feel much better, but still not wonderful. The funniest thing is that I have traveled halfway across Europe, been to airports, planes, buses and public transport in many cities. And nothing. I went to one small event in Warsaw and I probably got infected there … “- he revealed.
Finally, he called on his observers to remember that the pandemic was not over. He also stressed that they should not even ignore the symptoms of a common cold.
“Remember! The virus is still there, has not disappeared anywhere, and the pandemic is still going on. On my example, I can say that you can get infected in a very simple way. If you have a suspicion of being infected, you have a cold – it is probably not a cold, but COVID-19 ”- wrote Beata Tadla’s son.
