Law and Justice has begun preparations for next year’s presidential elections. The party plans to hold a congress in the fall, after which the name of the politician who will be its candidate in these elections will be announced.
President Jarosław Kaczyński does not comment on specific names, but announced that the party will not field a woman in the presidential election.
PiS plans to change structures before presidential elections
PiS is said to be planning a change in structures, which will also include the highest party authorities.
As reported by the WP portal, the current vice-presidents: Beata Szydło and Antoni Macierewicz, may lose their positions. The replacement of vice-presidents is almost certain at this point, but its form may still change.
