“We are only 500 meters from the sea. It’s a normal house, for a family. We will go there when time allows, not only during holidays. Beata is already learning Spanish!

Andrzej Pietras praised his new acquisition in an interview with “Super Express”.

After more than 30 years of living together, in 2016 Beata Kozidrak separated from her husband. The couple agreed to divide their assets. However, the Spanish home became a bone of contention between the former spouses. Pietras did not want to come to Marbella with a new partner. He felt uncomfortable not using the shared home. The couple therefore decided to transfer the seaside estate to their daughters.

Although today they are not the formal owners of the house in Spain, they still manage it. The singer of the group Bajam I am worried about the fate of this property. Why?

Spain has a problem with squatters. They are interested in summer houses that have been empty for several months. They break into them and before anyone finds out, they can make themselves comfortable for a long time. It is not easy to get rid of such unwanted occupants as, under current Spanish law, quick eviction is only possible if the landlord discovers and reports the illegal occupancy within 48 hours of the tenants entering. After that time, a court order is needed. And that can take months. Meanwhile, squatters use the house with impunity.

Specialized gangs are so organized that they can provide the police with false evidence that, for example, pizza has been delivered to a given address for several days, so they have been living in the house for more than 48 hours.

Beata Kozidrak is afraid that such scammers may be interested in a house in Marbella. Therefore, she did not hesitate to ask for help from her ex-husband. Although they have not been married for seven years, they quickly came to an agreement. They want to take care of the monitoring of the area and a better alarm system.

This is still my place on earth, my second home. It is associated with memories, beautiful, carefree, holiday time. It is important to all of us. We bought the property many years ago, it’s a family run beautiful villa

says Beata Kozidrak to the magazine “Live”.

Where did the idea to turn to your ex-husband for help come from? It turns out that despite the divorce, the couple is on very good terms.

“Not only do we work together, but we also know our partners. The most important thing is to trust each other and like each other even after parting,” the star reveals.
