Juarez City- Municipal police officers arrested a man who allegedly beat to death his son, a boy just 7 years old, this afternoon.
The homicide occurred shortly after 12 noon, in a house on Valle de Anáhuac 2622, interior 39 and Valle del Bravo streets, in the Lomas del Valle neighborhood, southeast of the city.
Municipal police arrested the man who tried to run away, still with his clothes covered in blood.
The boy’s relatives said he savagely beat him to death, for no reason, according to a municipal police officer.
The preventives quickly took the alleged 27-year-old murderer from the scene, whose name they omitted at the scene.
Neighbors of the sector were dismayed by the crime and assured that it was not the first time that the child had been beaten.
Experts from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) in the Northern Zone work on gathering evidence at the site.
With this homicide, 110 were reached in August, the second lowest, according to the official FGE figure.
