Employees of the CASE company, from which the scandalous businessman Svetoslav Ilchovski bought agricultural machinery a few days ago, beat seven people, Trud has learned.
The action took place on one of the landowner’s fields, while the people from the company tried to show his workers how to handle the equipment. It is not clear what exactly they annoyed someone with, but they ate paint from strong men.
According to people from the Pleven and Vratsa regions, where Ilchovski’s endless fields stretch, he took the fear of the people of the region with his violent temper and his inviolability. A few days ago it became clear that even the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Petya Avramova was afraid of him, who Ilchovski accused of pressuring him not to buy land.
“I want you to guarantee my security in front of this person, because I am afraid of him,” Avramova told Maya Manolova’s deputies.
People in the Northwest remember the unbearable struggle for justice they waged with the millionaire grain.
Such is the beekeeper Ivan Georgiev, whose business Ilchovski destroyed in minutes.
On April 8, 2009, the farmer decided to spray herbicide over the land of the village of Enitsa without notifying anyone, as required by law. The poison is also poured over the 130 beehives of Ivan Georgiev, who has the misfortune to be a neighbor of the farmer’s fields. Bee colonies die. A court saga begins in which he is guilty and no one is convicted.
This is only the beginning of Ilchovski’s atrocities. He hires security – private and from a local security company, which deals with “prevention”.
In 2018, two brothers – landowners from Vidin, were brutally beaten so that it did not occur to them to burn the businessman’s harvest.
He “respects” not only random people, but also his own uncle. Five years ago, Ilchovski arrived at a land auction with dozens of security guards to intimidate his relative, who is his only competitor at the auction, and to threaten to refuse him to participate in the bidding.
Ilchovski’s behavior cannot be accidental and it is clear that there is an umbrella over him. However, in his words, with which he accuses people in power, there are “wholesale” tales with a bunch of factual contradictions and pure lies.
At the first hearing before Manolova’s commission, Ilchovski said that in 2017, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov gathered him and other businessmen at a villa, where he screened a film of them raping Minyo Staykov in custody. The goal was to intimidate them so that they would not grumble that they had to “report” to him by the hundreds of thousands.
At the second hearing it was clarified that not the Prime Minister, but the head of Gradus Ivan Angelov invited the guests to his manor day, that the video was shown by one of the guests long before the Prime Minister came and did not want to say the name of the rape because. .. Well, because Minyu Staykov was arrested in September 2018, and in January 2017 he was at home, in one of his offices or in “Vinprom Karnobat”. On Monday, the businessman, who is already on trial, commented on Ilchovski’s “revelations” only with the words: “I don’t have a sister.”
The same applies to the gold bars, which at the first hearing Ilchovski had seen being given to Borisov for his birthday, and to the second – that he had been shown videos with the bars as a “gift”.
As for the allegations that he was forced to sell his grain at the market price – and they turned out to be compressed air. In our country, this commodity, even from the State Reserve, is traded only through the commodity exchange.
All of Ilchovski’s defendants have said they will file defamation lawsuits against him. Among them is the model Maggie Bader, who according to him is the Bulgarian Mata Hari, who took the photos from the prime minister’s bedroom. Four of them were made in the first days of January 2019. On these dates, however, the playmate was in Dubai, where she left in the last days of 2018. After her threats to sue Ilchovski, he backed off and said that in fact not her, but another woman is the author of the photos.
The farmer does not deny that he gave bribes, for which he should be held criminally liable. In 2013, he counted BGN 50,000 for the former GERB MP Dimitar Avramov, from whom he asked for political protection after an action in the Zhidovitsa area, where his people fought for a rapeseed harvest with the company from Varshets ET Ekaterina Yordanova MAT – GER ”And the police had to come. Later it became clear that Avramov did not intend to be satisfied with the money received and asked for more. Ilchovski then looked for a friend from SANS and MP Avramov was locked up with marked money, the case against him is not over yet.
Whether the facts presented by Ilchovski are true, the prosecutor’s office will say in the end. And it’s not bad to check who else he gave money for protection. Corruption is possible only when there are two parties – giving and taking. There are texts in the Penal Code for both.
