Egyptian banks are preparing to return to the application of commissions and fees for withdrawal and deposit transactions to customers through ATMs of other banks after about 10 days from today, with the end of the period specified by the Central Bank’s decision to exempt from these fees for a period of 6 months on September 15th.
In the following, we review the fees for withdrawing and inquiring about the balance from ATM machines in Egyptian banks, if the customer uses a credit card belonging to another bank.
Ahli Bank
Commission for withdrawing from another bank ATM: 5 pounds, the inquiry commission is 1.5 pounds.
Egypt Bank
Commission for withdrawals from another bank ATM: 6 pounds per transaction, inquiry commission: 1 pound.
Commercial International Bank
Cash withdrawal commission: 2% per transaction, with a minimum of 20 pounds, and payroll cards 3 pounds per transaction.
Alexandria Bank
Cash withdrawal commission: 10 pounds, and 3 pounds for balance inquiries.
HSBC Bank
Commission for withdrawals: 10 pounds, and 10 pounds for balance inquiries.
Faisal Islamic Bank
Commission for withdrawals: 5 pounds, and balance inquiries: 3 pounds.
Arabian African Bank
Commission for withdrawals: 8 pounds, and balance inquiries 3 pounds.
Emirates National Bank of Dubai
Commission for withdrawals: 20 EGP from any other bank’s ATM, and 3 EGP for balance inquiries.
Credit Agricole Bank
Cash withdrawal commission: 6 pounds, and 3 pounds for balance inquiries.
Blom Bank
Commission for withdrawals: 5 pounds, and balance inquiries 3 pounds.
Al Baraka Bank
Commission for withdrawals: 6 pounds, and balance inquiries 6 pounds.
Egyptian Gulf Bank
Commission for cash withdrawal: 5 pounds, and balance inquiry 3 pounds.
