Serenity invades us when we enter the Be good coiffure hair salon, located at 35 rue Fleming in Luisant. Charlotte d’Hooghe, 36, has worked in hairdressing for twenty years. She tastefully and delicately transformed the garage of her house into a hairdressing salon. She opened in February 2023, after working for several years in Coudray. For several weeks, she has been renting an armchair to Mélissa Bisson, 35, a hairdresser for nineteen years, before a future partnership.

The two young women invested in sustainable development and ecology applied these concerns in the hairdressing salon. They use no chemicals or ammonia.
“To make the colors, we use organic plants that are dried and ground into powder. They have Ayurvedic virtues and come from India,” explains Charlotte d’Hooghe.

She does not hide the fact that these products are more expensive to purchase, but that she “cuts back a little on her margin, in order to offer as many affordable products as possible that are good for people’s health.” The two hairdressers are also members of the Coiffeurs Justes network.
“All the hair that we cut, we keep and we fill large bags with it, which we send to the network by post.”
