Be careful, the PP is moving to the “hard line” of the opposition

I see you very concerned about the fact that the PP is considering a “hard line” of opposition for the new legislature. This is what a good part of the press has said after the appointment of Miguel Tellado as the new spokesperson in Congress: “Feijóo chooses the hard line”, “Feijóo reorganizes the PP to form a ‘hard’ opposition against Sánchez”, “Tellado advances an opposition “tough and forceful”, “The leader of the PP opts for a hard line in the Lower House in the face of a turbulent legislature”, “The PP opts for a tough opposition”, etc. And they repeated the same thing this Tuesday in the gatherings.

Hard opposition, hard line. So what have we seen so far? The loyal opposition? Do they mean that it will be an even tougher opposition than in recent weeks? Will they overcome the bar of accusing Sánchez of being an autocrat and friend of Hamas terrorists, while at the same time heating up the street and putting their media and judicial terminals to work? I would say more: a tougher opposition than that of recent years, the entire last legislature in which they did not give the Government a single day of respite, permanently installed in hyperbole? It’s just that I’m too lazy to recover the newspaper archive of the last four years, but I’m sure you remember glorious sessions in Congress with Pablo Casado at the head of the party. That she had Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo as parliamentary spokesperson for an entire year!
