Suara.com – Mosquito one of the small animals that can cause various deadly diseases transmitted by vectors. Even mosquitoes are among the deadliest animals in the world, as they kill more than 7 lakh people every year.
There are several types of mosquitoes that act as vectors for transmitting different diseases. For example, the Aedes mosquito which can cause chikungunya, dengue fever, lymphatic filariasis, rift valley fever, yellow fever, zika dam.
The Anopheles mosquito that can cause malaria and lymphatic filariasis. Then, the Culex mosquito which can cause encephalitis, lymphatic filariasis, and West Nile fever.

1. Malaria
The female anopheles mosquito is the main vector of malaria which breeds in rainwater and puddles, river bottom ponds, irrigation canals, seepage, holes, rice fields, wells, pond edges, slow streams with sandy edges. This mosquito usually bites at dusk and dawn.
2. Dengue
This disease is caused by the dengue virus, which usually shows symptoms after 3 to 14 days of infection. Symptoms of dengue include high fever, headache, joint pain, vomiting, muscle aches, and skin rash. The recovery period for dengue can take 2 to 7 days.
In addition, dengue can also develop into dengue fever as a more severe form of health problem. Symptoms include bleeding under the skin and persistent vomiting.
