BD: a festival of previews in Angoulême

Consequence: the festival team had to review its programming for moviegoers. It will begin on Thursday March 17 with the screening, at 7:30 p.m. at the CGR, of “Code Prima”, the adaptation of the graphic novel by Alfred, published by Delcourt, Fauve d’or in 2014. The story of two brothers who embark on a road trip to their native Italy when their father died in the 1960s.

The next day, Friday, the feature film “Inu-Oh”, eagerly awaited in Japan and around the world, will be presented in preview, at 8 p.m., still at the CGR. The screening will be followed by a meeting with director Masaaki Yuasa, who will also meet the public on Saturday at the Manga city space. On that day, “Lastman Heroes, Episode 1” will premiere. At the end of the session, an exchange with Bastien Vivès, Yves Balak and Mickaël Sanlville, authors of the comic book series, and Laurent Sarfati and Clotilde Bruneau, scriptwriters of the animated series, is planned.

Also to be seen during the festival: the preview of the documentary “Hugo in Argentina” or “By Jove! Blake and Mortimer are 75 years old. There should also be a crowd for the screening of “Les beaux gosses” (2009 film) in the presence of Riad Sattouf and Vincent Lacoste, on the occasion of the release, at the end of the year, of the album “Le jeune acteur 1”. Or during the musical encounter around “Melville”.
