New Delhi: BCCI will release about four lakh more tickets for the One Day Cricket World Cup in India.
The board announced on Wednesday that the next round of ticket sales will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday. Tickets must be purchased online. Tickets can be purchased through the official website. The decision was taken in view of the high demand for tickets.
In the first phase, ticket sales for warm-up matches and World Cup matches of teams other than India began on August 28. Tickets for the India-Pakistan match, which went on sale on September 3, sold out at a record pace. Ticket sales for the semifinals and finals will begin on September 15.
