Another announcement regarding the change in transaction rates has been released BC extension at IDR 150,000/month using the BCA logo and signature of the BCA directors. BCA pointed out that the ad that was circulating was a hoax or fake news.
“The signatures of the directors of BCA have been forged, we can say that the attached announcement is an ACTION OF FRAUD. BCA has NEVER issued an announcement letter as objectionable,” BCA’s announcement explained in its official statement, quoted on Saturday (11/19/2022).
BCA invites customers to always pay attention to people who act on behalf of BCA. The bank stressed that if there is a letter on behalf of BCA, it should contact the local branch first.
“We can say that if you receive a suspicious letter on behalf of BCA, customers can contact their local branch or through Halo BCA 1500888,” he said.
“Never share confidential banking personal data, such as ATM card numbers, PINs, OTPs, and so on,” the BCA’s official statement added.
BC extension also explains that to obtain information about BCA only from official channels, namely:
