BCA distributes dividends of Rp 530 per share and appoints 2 new directors

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) will distribute cash dividends of IDR 530 per share or 48% of the total Net Profit for the 2020 financial year.

The dividend distribution was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held on Monday (29/3). The Cash Dividend includes an interim dividend of Rp98 per share which was distributed on 22 December 2020.

Last year, BCA posted a net profit of Rp 27.1 trillion, down 5.14% from the previous year. As for 2019, BCA distributed dividends of Rp. 13.69 trillion Rp. 555 per share. Dividend pay out ratio BBCA amounted to 47.9% of the 2019 net profit of IDR 28.6 trillion.

In addition to determining the distribution of dividends, the BCA AGMS appointed two new directors of the company, namely John Kosasih and Frengky Chandra Kusuma. The appointment will be effective after the Company receives approval from the OJK, with a term of office until the closing of the AGMS held in 2026.

The shareholders meeting also reappointed Suwignyo Budiman as the Vice President Director of the Company until 2022. Then, the meeting reappointed the members of the Board of Commissioners and Directors of the Company with a term of office after the closing of the AGMS until the closing of the AGMS held in 2026, namely
