BCA Boss sells BBCA shares worth Rp 4.36 billion for home renovations

JAKARTAKOMPAS.com – President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or BCA, Jahja Setiaatmadja, sell part of its ownership shares. One of the purposes of the divestment of the shares is to renovate the house.

Reporting from the stock ownership report document uploaded to the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) information disclosure page, Jahja sold 500,000 BBCA shares, valued at Rp 8,725 per share yesterday on Sept. 15.

Therefore, the divestment value of the 500,000 shares is Rp 4.36 billion. In the document drawn up by BCA corporate secretary Raymon Yonarto, it was stated that Jahja had sold 500,000 shares with the aim of renovating his house.

On the same date, Jahja also sold 500,000 shares owned by the BBCA for investment purposes. The price per share is Rp 8,750, bringing the total value of the sale with this investment objective to Rp 4.37 billion.

In total, yesterday, September 15, Jahja sold 1 million shares owned by the BBCA. After the share sale transaction, Jahja currently owns 39,811,090 BBCA shares.

Not only Jahja

In addition to Jahja, BCA director Tan Ho Hien also sold 500,000 shares of the company yesterday September 14. The price per share sold was Rp 8,500, bringing the total value of the sale with this investment objective to Rp 4.25 billion.

“The purpose of the operation is the sale. The shareholding status is immediate”, wrote the document signed by Raymon Yonarto, quoted on Sunday (18/9/2022).

For information, BBCA shares during the week (12-16 September) rose 1.2% to the level of Rp 8,450. BBCA shares even hit the level of Rp 8,700 per share in yesterday’s Thursday (9/15/2022) and Friday (9/16/2022) trading sessions.

Along with this strengthening, BBCA’s market capitalization increased 10.94% to Rp 1,031.26 trillion. With this capitalization value, BBCA is strengthening by ranking number one for the stock with the largest market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
