For its part, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) reported that the service office in Guerrero and a tax services module in Michoacán will remain closed, due to the alert due to the passage of Hurricane John.
In a statement, the SAT explained that to protect the integrity of the population, the service was suspended at the Guerrero 1 Acapulco service office and the Lázaro Cárdenas Tax Services Module, Michoacán.
At the same time, he noted that the appointments that taxpayers have confirmed for in-person procedures will be rescheduled when service resumes.
The SAT detailed that the Quintana Roo 2 service office, located in Cancún, and the Tax Services Modules of Cozumel and Playa del Carmen, are already providing service normally.
The BBVA offices that will remain closed are: Cancún main office, Cancún, Plaza Portales, Plaza Hollywood, Cancún Kabah, la Luna Cancún, Pabellón Cumbres Cancún, Paseo Cancún, López Portillo and Huayacán.
The branches of Puerto Cancún, Gran Plaza Cancún, Cancún Plaza las Américas, Cancún hotel zone, Cancún Avenida Tulum, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel Plaza Norte, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Playa del Carmen main office, Playacar Centro Maya, Constituciónntes Playa will also not be in service. del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Tulum Riviera Maya.
Citibanamex, for its part, reported that three branches in Chilpancingo and one more in Ayutla, Guerrero, are out of service and on a preventive basis, while 14 were closed in Acapulco. In addition, two others are closed in the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas in Michoacán. So far, no damage has been reported, the financial institution detailed.
Santander reported that it closed some branches in Acapulco mainly due to the lack of electrical service.
