In the Minderbroedersstraat in Den Bosch, an upper floor of a house was destroyed by fire at the beginning of the evening on Saturday. This happened after a BBQ had fallen over on the balcony around a quarter to seven. The fire then spread to the rest of the floor. The three people barbecuing were able to get to safety in time.
The property is located in the center of the city. Several fire trucks were at the fire and the area was cordoned off. The fire is now under control. According to a 112 correspondent, some catering establishments in the vicinity of the burning building have been temporarily evacuated.
The top floor is badly damaged. No one was injured.
