Ciamis News, (harapanrakyat.com), – The Ciamis Regency Government through the Livestock and Fisheries Service noted that during 2021, the Ciamis Fish Seed Center (BBI) has distributed 2.5 million tilapia seeds to community groups.
This was revealed during the handing over of fish seeds by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) Ciamis Tatang to community groups, Wednesday (11/3/2021).
Millions of fish seeds from BBI Ciamis were distributed free of charge to the public.
Secretary Tatang also appreciated the role of the Fish Seed Center.
“The function of the Fish Seed Center has been running well, especially in the effort to breed tilapia,” said Tatang.

Every week, BBI distributes fish seeds to community groups for free.
This program, said Tatang, is a supporter of the Ciamis Regent’s vision and mission regarding the stability of prosperous economic independence for all.
“When the community is given free fish seeds, at least the community is given a source of income from tilapia cultivation which they manage to support the economy,” he said.
BBI Ciamis itself every Wednesday routinely distributes tilapia seeds to community groups.
“For those who want to receive fish seed assistance, they can propose to the Ciamis Livestock and Fisheries Service through a proposal,” said Tatang. (Fahmi/R8/HR Online/Jujang Editor)
