Big Brother familiar from the program Sofia Tuomola went to Istanbul, Turkey for cosmetic surgery. Tuomola has talked about his trip openly on his Instagram account.

So far, Tuomola has not specified which cosmetic surgery it is. However, he has published a video on his Instagram account in which he presents his post-surgery face.

In the video, Tuomola first dances on the balcony before her surgery. She is wearing a black crop top and dark sunglasses. After the dance video, a clip of her lying in bed with her face covered in tapes and bandages appears. The star’s face looks swollen and both of her eyes are bruised.

Tuomola has received many get-well-soon wishes in the comment field of the post. However, some are horrified by Tuomola’s post-surgery face.

Tuomola told Big Brother – while in the house, that he has spent around 15,000 euros on cosmetic surgery. In the spring of 2023, Tuomola went to Thailand for a genital surgery operation as part of her gender reassignment process. Tuomola told Iltalehte that the first three or four days after the operation had been very difficult. The reason was great pains in the stomach area, head, shoulders and legs.

– I was lying in a hospital bed and couldn’t move. I wasn’t allowed to drink or eat. I had a drip for the first few days and a catheter for a little over a week. It really hurt, he said.

Tuomola said that before her procedure, she had, for example, undergone hormone treatments and underwent surgery to make her more feminine.
