Sober and rustic
Truck driver Dennis and skipper Gerri have started a care farm and a bed & breakfast in addition to their regular work. The rooms are stylish, the breakfast luxurious and there is even a hot tub for the enthusiast – for which you have to pay an extra 50 euros for that.
But that shouldn’t spoil the fun, the other couples are very pleased with the hosts of the two men. The only point of criticism is that Frisian farmer Gerard would like a television in his room. That just does not fit in with the “sober and rustic” image that the couple wants to convey with their B&B. Fair enough.
The men themselves are less satisfied and that is what the fans on Twitter notice. The program, and specifically the two men, is trending.

Leaves on the balcony
Soon after Dennis and Gerrie enter Gerti and Renate’s B&B in a stately mansion in Emmen, there is criticism. For example, the road is a bit busy, you can look into the neighbour’s room, the bed is neat and the finishing of the cables and the refrigerator leaves much to be desired.

Oh yes: Gerrie doesn’t like the fact that there are leaves on the balcony and the flower boxes are “full of water”. The other couple, Gerard (who comes everywhere with his clogs) and Rikie, is a bit less precise and actually thinks everything is “very beautiful” in Emmen.
Not a ball
The trip to the former Zoo Emmen is also not very popular with the couple. Gerrie is quite clear: “I don’t like it”. To make matters worse, the men also wake up the next morning, heartbroken: “It was the mattress topper, it was too soft.” And Gerrie was also bothered by the train. “That was disastrous for me.”
When counting the money, it appears that Dennis and Gerrie find the other couples’ B&B too expensive. They pay 15 euros less than the asking price for Gerti and Renate’s room.
