The very timid start on both sides of the field was the image of what was to follow (5-4, 5th). If we can quote someone we will be content to salute the work of Captain Dembélé, always in the oven and the mill, and of Papo, who is very enterprising in the fight to get closer to the circle. The entry into play of Bruzac and Couzigou (7th) put a little balm to this part, however high in the table and important for the classification. The young Guegan, for the visitors, also showed some useful means in the design of the game of his team. (18-10, 10th). The Nantes suburbs were still caught in the second half and succumbed to the onslaught of strong Ditu Mona. Gilles Versier’s players, although enterprising, remained too clumsy (30-19, 19th). Stojiljkovic knocked out his opponents with an “award-winning” and a far-fetched shot … moreover spectacular (35-19, 20th).
On the restart, the reaction of De Casabianca’s team members did not cast doubt on the superiority of the Marmandais. Papo having disappeared it is Renaud who dosed salutary passes in the restricted zone. But BBM shone (54-30, 28th). Jacq and Guegan did offer some skirmishes but this was quickly contained by the locals (60-32, 30th). A new interception punctuated by Couzigou awakened the assistance in the fourth quarter. Then Dembélé’s partners finally unfolded without being worried; they had already got their hands on the match a long time ago and let themselves be deflected by Pierard’s shots alone, and the emergence of captain De Casabianca took the initiatives on him to address the poor production of his team. He therefore alone scored 13 of the 15 points in the last period … Finally, in the money-time the young Rowe scored the first three points of his young career which was greeted with happiness … for himself and his many supporters in platform.
