Big Brother -winner Jasmine Yildiz says on Instagram that he received good news about his cancer treatments. Yildiz has cervical cancer.

Yildiz started heavy cancer treatments at the beginning of April. Now, a month later, for the first time, he received accurate information about the state of the tumor, when the treatments are nearing the end.

– “Good treatment response in today’s dose-mri”. In this situation, this is indeed good information, Yildiz rejoices in the stories section of his Instagram account on Monday evening.

Yildiz says that on Tuesday he has his fifth and last cytostat, or cell blocker, treatment. Long and tough treatments have taken their toll.

– Honestly, I wouldn’t have known what I would have done if I hadn’t gotten even a little light today. Body and mind are at the end and at the limit. For the first time today, I have dared to look ahead and start thinking about something normal, Yildiz writes in his stories.

Yildiz emphasizes that there is still a long way to go. Because the cancer had had time to spread to the tissues next to the uterus and to the lymph nodes in the thighs, the tumor was large.

– There is really no chance that it (the tumor) will ever disappear completely, but you can learn to live with it, as long as the cancer cells are not active.

– Life will never be the same as before getting sick, and it’s not supposed to be, he writes.

After chemotherapy, Yildiz starts brachytherapy, i.e. intravaginal radiation therapy. Yildiz says that it is a painless procedure that is performed under four general anesthesia.

– I never thought I would experience a year like this. I have lost everything. Somehow completely crazy, and you don’t even realize it. Now I just hope that my body and mind will have a little more strength to finish these treatments, says Yildiz.

In support of physical treatments, Yildiz says that he will also start therapy next week. It will come in handy.

– Such a traumatic experience that I had to break it down. In addition, of course, all changes in the body, changes in hormone function, infertility and so on.

Yildiz wrote in the Instagram post he shared last week that the hardest part of the illness has been accepting that he can’t do anything himself.

– Now we are at the stage where the cheerful attitude of the initial treatments shines through its absence. I was really strong for a long time, but now the wall has hit me. It’s maddening and annoying.
