Bayreuth region’s location marketing campaign puts companies in the spotlight

The Bayreuth region is setting an example of creativity and commitment in location marketing with the brand “Your Stage Bayreuth”

With the help of new campaign motifs, protagonists of various companies and organizations from the city and district of Bayreuth are presented on large-format posters in unusual scenarios. The measure, initiated by the economic development agencies of the city and district of Bayreuth and carried out in cooperation with Bayreuth Marketing and Tourism GmbH, aims to highlight the attractiveness of the job market and career opportunities in the Bayreuth region and at the same time underline the quality of life there.

The poster campaign shows top performers in the company who symbolize their passion and creativity. Whether in traditional crafts, in the technology sector or in the dynamic service sector – the campaign shows the diverse career opportunities in the region. The visual presentation is accompanied by memorable statements.

Location marketing in a globalized world Effective location marketing is more important today than ever, especially in a globalized world in which companies and skilled workers are increasingly mobile. This campaign offers the Bayreuth region a unique opportunity to position itself as an attractive place to live and work. By specifically addressing young talent and skilled workers, the region is presented as an exciting and diverse location that offers both professional opportunities and a high quality of life.

Ultimately, it is clear to everyone involved: the economic success of a region depends largely on the availability of qualified workers. Attracting and retaining talented specialists is a challenge, particularly in rural areas. With the campaign “Your Stage Bayreuth”, the Bayreuth region is therefore specifically focusing on an emotional appeal and a positive portrayal of the working environment. This is intended not only to strengthen the regional economy, but also to promote social cohesion.

The campaign is just one, albeit important, component of the overall location marketing. The region advertises attractive positions at companies at trade fairs across the region and hosts the local “Bayreuth Innovativ” trade fair. Newly arriving skilled workers receive comprehensive advice from the Bayreuth Welcome Services and the region offers numerous opportunities to settle in quickly with its events for new residents.

Thomas Ebersberger, Mayor of Bayreuth:

“The economic region of Bayreuth is an extremely attractive location. This applies not only to new settlements, but also to the many companies already established in Bayreuth that are expanding in the city and district of Bayreuth, creating new jobs and generating added value for the entire region. With our poster campaign, we want to advertise the location and at the same time focus on selected companies that, with their company history, are convincing ambassadors for this development.”

Florian Wiedemann, Bayreuth District Administrator:

“Good location marketing is the be-all and end-all for successful regional economic development. This gives us the opportunity to highlight our strengths, attract investors and draw skilled workers to the region. We are aware that we have strong companies in the Bayreuth region. But we must also succeed in communicating this advantage to the public. The poster campaign is a logical and, above all, worthwhile measure for this.”
