Mortal Kombat 1 was announced for the Nintendo Switch and since then there have been many rumors about guest characters coming to the game. At the moment, names such as Omni-Man, Patriot and Peacekeeper are called. But they are all men, and the composition requires diversity.
That’s why Hideki Kamiya recently revived a tweet from a few years ago in which he mentions the possibility of Bayonetta joining Mortal Kombat with a cryptic phrase suggestive of the popular “Fatality”.
At the moment, there is no sign that Bayonetta will appear in Mortal Kombat 1, other than the words of Kamiya. However, if the Umbra Witch has been able to find her niche in Smash Ultimate, no one doubts that she will be able to repeat this feat in other fighting games. She definitely has the charisma for that.
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to release on September 19, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch.
