Half match day 6 Champions of La Liga finished held. Bayern Monaco finish perfectly in the group stage, Liverpool slow down Naples.
Eight matches of the sixth day of the Champions League will be played on Wednesday (2/11/2022) early morning WIB. Group B played all their games early.
Atletico Madrid ended the group stage with a bitter result, losing 1-2 against Porto. This ensured they finished last in Group B, while Porto and Club Brugge qualified for the knockout stage and Bayer Leverkusen for the Europa League.
In Group A, Liverpool scored twice in injury time to give Napoli their first defeat of the season. But the 2-0 was not enough for the ‘Reds’ to expel the Partenopei from the top of the standings, despite both having collected 15 points.
Bayern Munich ended the season in Group C with a 2-0 win over Inter Milan at the Allianz Arena. The win also ensured Die Roten became the only perfect team in the 2022/2023 Champions League group stage, scoring 18 goals and conceding just two goals.
Inter finished second, while Barcelona ended the Champions League season with a 4-2 win over Viktoria Plzen. Barcelona have been confirmed for the Europa League from the second day.
Group D presents a tough battle, with the four teams entering Matchday 6 with both qualifying possibilities. Tottenham Hotspur qualified as group winners after a dramatic 2-1 win over Marseille in injury time.
Eintracht Frankfurt finished second after a 2-1 win over Sporting. For Marseille, the injury time defeat also represented the harsh reality of their failure to qualify for the Europa League after finishing one point behind Sporting.
