In an interview with Sports buzzer, Bayern Munich Frauen star Lina Magull not worried about pressue coming from a hard-charging Wolfsburg side as the two powers prepare to square off on Sunday.
“Both teams feel the pressure. We’re the hunted, Wolfsburg is the defending champion,” Magull said. “Wolfsburg will certainly enter the game with the same attitude as in the cup. I know it’s a typical phrase, but the little things will make the difference. However, we will not give them anything and show a different face than the last time they met.”

When asked about the coverage of the Frauen, Magull knows that the team does not get nearly as much as they deserve, but
“Regionally it is rather less. However, you also have to consider that Munich is a culturally very diverse, international city – and there are a lot of topics that need to be dealt with,” Magull said. “Women’s football falls by the wayside a bit. From the club side, we can’t complain, the club really does a lot for us.”
One club that did not do much for the Frauen was Chelsea. Magull said the locker room facilities were less-than-ideal for a major competition like the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
“Chelsea’s Kingsmeadow stadium has a certain charm. It’s typically English and a bit old-fashioned,” Magull said. “But our dressing rooms were rather unprofessional. It was a big room with a bar next to it. They just put chairs in there and the showers were outside (the room). We had warm water and from that perspective it wasn’t a problem. But if you consider how the league presents itself, it was astonishing. But it was nothing that influenced the match. We accepted it and did not get angry about it.”
