Bayern Munich’s Dominant 5-1 Victory Over Eintracht Frankfurt

5–1 was the least sensational final result when Eintracht Frankfurt took on Bayern Munich. A real starburst for Bayern, who came to Frankfurt with a zero in the loss column after twelve games.

Omar Marmoush started the scoring spree in the twelfth minute and was also the one who combined with Hugo Larsson for the 3-0 goal in the 36th. Skåningen broke a pass in midfield, walloped Marmoush and then turned away Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano before slotting in his second Bundesliga goal of the season behind Manuel Neuer.

Larsson was sold this summer from Malmö FF from around SEK 130 million and also impresses in his new German football environment.

Joshua Kimmich reduced Bayern Munich’s lead just before the break, but the second half was just five minutes old when Eric Ebimbe made it 4–1 to make it two goals. When the hour was played it was also 5–1, a goal by Ansgar Knauff which was only approved after VAR review.

Frankfurt is seventh in the table. Bayer Leverkusen is now the series’ only unbeaten team and tops three points ahead of Bayern Munich.
