“We’re very happy, it wasn’t easy,” said Bayern goalscorer Coman. “We had a lot of chances and then scored two great goals.” Hertha coach Pal Dardai tried to get his players back on their feet after the defeat. “The team fought,” said the 47-year-old. “We’ll train offensively next week, and it’ll start again against Stuttgart.” Offensive man Florian Niederlechner expressed a “compliment to the boys, that’s how you have to act in the relegation battle”.
Dortmund draw with consequences
Title aspirant Dortmund, who had to relinquish their lead after one round, were still angry two days after the draw in Bochum.
