Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – German club Bayern Munich defeated its Italian rival, Lazio, by three unanswered goals, at the Allianz Arena, on Tuesday, in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League (Champions League).
Harry Kane (double) and Thomas Muller took turns scoring the goals for the “Bavarians” team in the 38th, 45+ and 66th minutes.
Bayern Munich reached the quarter-finals in the Champions League, after winning the aggregate of the two matches with a score of 1/3.
At the same stage, the French club Paris Saint-Germain defeated its Spanish counterpart, Real Sociedad, by two goals to one, on the latter’s field.
Kylian Mbappé scored a brace for the Parisian club in the 15th and 56th minutes, while the Spanish club’s only goal came from Michael Merino in the 89th minute.
Paris Saint-Germain reached the quarter-finals with a score of 1/4 on aggregate.
