“It was a little ironic because our second half was better than the first, but we lost the second and won the first. Today’s result was important for our confidence and development, but we still have work to do. This is a well-deserved victory. Every victory in the Champions League is a big step. Every victory over Manchester United is a great achievement. We didn’t have the rhythm we needed and at 3-1 we could have finished the game. But we responded well to every setback,” the official UEFA website quotes Tuchel as saying.
