Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn takes a minimalist approach with his working area

In a recent interview with club website, Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn talked over a number of topics, including one that was pretty obscure — the state of his office desk.

You won’t find stacks of papers, loose notes, or multiple devices on Kahn’s desk. The new CEO — and goalkeeping legend — is content to have a minimalist approach to his working area.

“Basically, I feel more comfortable with a more reduced style. I think when you have a lot of things on your mind, it helps you personally when everything is well organized,” Kahn said. “The more minimalist an office is, the easier it is for me to focus.”

That line of thinking is exactly what Kahn has espoused in nearly every interview since taking over. Kahn wants to keep his focus on the important things and not have to worry about the noise surrounding a high-profile club like Bayern Munich.

Just about the only recommendation we at Bavarian Football Works would make is for the new boss to firing up his lapper and check BFW a few times a day to find out what is really going on with this club.

We kid…we kid.
