About 100 words in three minutes. This is the first proof of work from Bayern’s new signing Michael Olise (22).
At the first press conference of the 51 million euro purchase from Crystal Palace, it was quite unique for the reporters of the German record champions. Because Olise probably gave one of the most taciturn press conferences in Bayern’s history.

But Olise didn’t get a chance to talk, he wants and should give his answers on the pitch. And he’s really good at that! He showed that recently at the Olympic tournament with France.
Nevertheless, the press conference will remain in the memory of those present for a long time. When asked whether he prefers scoring goals or setting them up, Olise said dryly: “It doesn’t matter, both!” Bayern sporting director Max Eberl commented with a grin: “There’s not much talking, he gets straight to the point.”
Olise also didn’t need many words to answer the question of whether he thinks things will be different in the Bundesliga than in the Premier League: “Probably, I have no idea.”
The reporters were able to get him to reveal his Bayern role model. Olise is particularly impressed by Franck Ribery. If he can even come close to Ribery’s performance at Bayern shows, the fans probably don’t care much about Olise’s performances off the pitch.
Max Eberl was also looking forward to the young Frenchman, saying at the press conference: “Michael showed what he can do last year in the Premier League and now at the Olympics. He is a player we will have a lot of fun with.”
Olise is already known for his short interviews in the Premier League. There, too, he preferred to give his answers on the pitch. And with great success! At Crystal Palace, he scored 14 goals in 82 games and provided assists for a further 22.
