Belgium is one of the title candidates at the European Football Championship. Star striker Lukaku would also cut a good figure at Bayern – such a compatriot.
Munich – The Belgian national team has so far been convincing at the EM 2021. With a maximum yield of nine points in Group B, the selection of coach Roberto Martinez moved into the round of 16. Striker Romelu Lukaku scored three goals. If it was up to a former Bundesliga star, the attacker would soon score goals for Bayern too. “He could be a candidate,” said ex-Schalke Emile Mpenza.
In the SportBild Lukakus compatriot explains that not every top European club would be a good match for the massive striker: “I’ve already thought about it a lot. You have to accept his game, so he wouldn’t be in good hands with all the top teams, ”said the 42-year-old. One example is FC Barcelona, ”where he would switch to an existing game system that is not tailored to him”.

The striker is currently under contract with Inter Milan, in the summer of 2019 he moved from Manchester United to Italy for a transfer fee of 74 million euros.
