Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) became the first two qualifiers for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, by eliminating Lazio and Real Sociedad. The Bavarian club and the Parisian team became the first two candidates to fight for the title.
Guided by a double from Harry Kane in the 38th and 66th minutes, the German team generated the comeback against the 0-1 aggregate with which they arrived at the Allianz Arena, at home. The former Tottenham player was the leading figure of the match by scoring 1-1 on aggregate and later the double, and Müller also joined the score to score 3-0 (3-1 on aggregate) of the match.
PSG clipped Real Sociedad’s wings with a score of 1-2 (1-4 on aggregate) to seal their permanence in Europe’s most important competition. The star of the Paris team, Kylian Mbappé confirmed the path to the next date with the double of the match, before the only goal for the Spanish by Merino.
