17-year-old Yusuf Demir is one of the top talents in Europe. Both FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are considered to be interested buyers of the youngster playing at Rapid Wien. The Austrian club is asking for a transfer fee of more than ten million euros.
Demir’s contract with Rapid Vienna runs until June 2022. Several top clubs in Europe are interested in the Austrian with Turkish roots, including FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. If the current runner-up in the Austrian Bundesliga wants to cash in with the 17-year-old, ideally a sale has to be made this summer.
Price tag of more than 10 million euros
How Sky announced, Rapid Wien is targeting a price tag for Demir for a little more than ten million euros. A worthwhile amount for a child prodigy already compared to the skills of a Lionel Messi. According to transfermarkt.de Demir’s market value is only around five million euros.
