Bayer with big win after 0-2 – first three points for Ilzer at Hoffenheim despite being three behind

Statement from Uschaurischum

crazy Not at all from Red Bull Leipzig, Hoffenheim were better for almost the whole season. The weak games of the past few years and months will continue unabated. Red Bull Leipzig are probably the biggest money-burner in the Bundesliga right now; hardly any other club has such a gap between financial expenditure and sporting results. So far we have not been able to believe him in any game. Without the simple opening program (we have already played against every team in the bottom half of the table) we would never be this high in the table. The league has lacked attacking ideas so far and points have only been won through individual quality. So far, the score has often been zero, but we have also played against very weak opponents. As soon as the opponents got better (BVB, Hoffenheim, the matches in the Champions League) you got several goals. With the tough league schedule before Christmas, we will be able to get through a bit.

It is always mentioned by Red Bull fans, other fans and especially the “football traditionalists” must accept and respect Red Bull because they do a lot of them ( very large financial opportunities). They just do a “good job”. But that is not true at all. Not for years. In terms of play, it’s a shame; in recent years you have never been able to move away from power pressing and develop your own fun ways. On the transfer market, millions are being poured into players like Elmas, Werner or Silva, apparently earning more than 6 million a year. Raum and Henrichs are the club’s top earners, each earning more than 7 million a year. Something like that would have broken the neck of regular football clubs a long time ago. The entire Red Bull empire is also collapsing. Red Bull Salzburg have lost the league supremacy and South American center Red Bull Bragantino are on the verge of relegation to the 2nd league, a real failure so far. The company’s own youth program has also been ineffective so far. You will not be able to train players from your own youth for the first league, but you will have to buy players from other leagues at high prices.

Red Bull hasn’t done a very good job in years; huge sums of millions are being burned without strengthening the team or even developing a real playing culture. Today’s game was a symbol of that. Most of the players looked disorganized, goals were scored through individual actions (especially by Nusa) and the defense was completely overwhelmed.

And if money is now being burned in Leipzig to the same extent as Hoffenheim or Wolfsburg, I wonder what arguments are still left to somehow sell to football fans that RB Leipzig is a treasure for German football. Like all other clubs, Red Bull spends money unnecessarily, except that they have a source of money that, in principle, cannot run dry. Of course, other clubs will then be confused about the distortion of competition, because bad management decisions have no effect, which is not the case with traditional clubs (Shalke, HSV, …).

You can feel all you want about RB, but how can you put so much misinformation out here?
First of all, no good work has been done for years?? If that’s the case, why does Leipzig always qualify for the CL from promotion except once? Why then have we been to an international semi-final twice in the last four years (once in the CL, once in the EL)? So why have you been in four of the five DFB Cup finals so far this year? Why did you win the DFB Cup twice in a row? Then why did you win the German Super Cup? Why did they sometimes get the second most points of all German clubs in the UEFA Five Year Ranking?
With all the success, the job doesn’t seem as bad as you say here.

Second, you are a money burning machine?? If so, why do you make a profit in your transfer balance in most seasons?

Third, the examples you gave of money burning are not very well chosen.
In his first RB season, Silva scored 25 goals (17 goals, 8 assists) and in his second season he scored fewer goals but made many important passes. Often he gave the template for the template. Because of the bad system, it often hangs in the air.
It’s like Werner. He scored 22 goals (16 goals, 6 assists) in his first season.
But then it also hung too much in the air because of the inadequate system.
You can’t really rate Elmas because, for whatever reason, Rose almost ignores him and in fact only gives him minute assignments, in which he shows great technique.

Fourth, even if your three examples could be called burning money, there would still be plenty of examples. Nkunku, Schlager, Simons, Orban, Gvardiol etc. all came for some money and were or are great players at Leipzig.

Fifth, Leipzig’s current poor form is largely due to Rose, as he is simply not a good coach. He has zero plan, no understanding of tactics, zero game idea and the team plays accordingly. The fact that it wasn’t fired long ago is one of the few things you can blame RB bosses for.
