WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – The Bavarian (ETR 🙂 The group has accepted a multi-million dollar deal in the United States for alleged illegal commissions and misrepresentations in the advertising of sure drugs. Bayer will fork out about $ 40 million (€ 40.2 million) to settle the scenario, the Justice Section claimed Friday (local time) in Washington. The organization has not admitted the fault.
Especially, according to the announcement, these are whistleblower grievances from a previous advertising and marketing staff. He accused Bayer of fueling gross sales of two medication by paying out secret commissions (“kickbacks”) to hospitals and medical practitioners. On top of that, Bayer has produced false statements by providing and minimizing safety challenges with a third drug.
