It is the new home outfit for season 20/21. The jersey will be worn today (3:30 p.m.) against Mainz 05 on match day 34 for the first time.

The special features of the jersey include: The club crest is black and white. “Werkself” on the outside of the neck band and “Bayer 04” on the inside. The name of the city “Leverkusen” is incorporated into the sleeve seams. Together with the red collar and the red cuffs, it shapes the style of the jersey, which the outfitters JAKO designed in close coordination with Stefan Kießling and the team council.
“We wanted to interpret the classic club colors from Bayer 04 in a new, modern design,” says honorary captain Kießling, who has been a consultant to the sports management team since 2018.
