Bayamón is Art: A Free Outdoor Art Event

The municipality of Bayamón will celebrate this coming Saturday, September 16, the “Bayamón is Art” event, which will take place at the facilities of the Children’s Park in Bayamón.

The activity, which seeks to promote art, will offer an opportunity to Bayamón families to enjoy a varied free outdoor artistic program.

Additionally, starting at 1:00 in the afternoon, there will be artisans and visual artists, located around the entire park, who will be giving demonstration workshops on crafts, as well as different art manifestations.

Also the renowned muralists Jean Oyola, Gabriel Abast and Smite Art will be painting live.

“In the municipal administration of Bayamón we recognize the unifying and transformative power of art and events like this promote recreation, fun and creativity for the entire family. We are excited that both the little ones and adults experience art surrounded by nature and the beauty that our Central Park offers,” said the mayor, Ramón Luis Rivera through a press release.

As part of the entertainment offer there will be circus and theater presentations by students and teachers of the School of Fine Arts, as well as the participation of the Municipal Band, the Cepeda Brothers, the singer Brigitte La Pelúa and the grand closing with the band Al Garete.
