After being stranded by snow storms in the United States, Myo Baxter-Bell arrived in Argentina this Thursday to join Club San Isidro. The foreigner, who will complete his first experience in our country, completed his university stage in the 2019-2020 season of the NCAA Basketball at the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Myo Baxter-Bell will turn 26 on March 18 (03/18/1995 in Dayton, Ohio), measuring 1.96 meters and weighing 122 kilos. His last four years in college, he represented Liberty Flames located in Lynchburg, in the state of Virginia. In the 2019-2020 season he played 34 games, averaging 7.4 points in 17.3 minutes and 52.6% from field goals. He also dropped 3 rebounds and 1.5 assists on average.
Baxter-Bell, who played his first two seasons at Lakota East, played a total of 141 games throughout his college career, averaged 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists with 49% shooting from the field, 17.8% shooting from three, 73.6% in doubles and 49.6% in free play.
His last coach, Staley, listed him as: “Myo is the most versatile player I have ever trained and he is the best passing big man I have ever had.”
They were waiting for him on Corrientes Street to add a week of training and thus arrive on March 11 to face the second Argentine League Headquarters that will be in Rosario and the Falcons will play 4 games.
