As they passed, there was a disturbance between the two cyclists. As a result of the accident, both fell to the ground and were injured. The 31-year-old man was treated on an outpatient basis at the scene of the accident by emergency services. The previously unidentified cyclist was taken to hospital by emergency services.

A breath alcohol test carried out at the scene of the accident on the previously unknown cyclist showed that he was not highly intoxicated. After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, the previously unknown cyclist was temporarily arrested after completing medical treatment and will be brought before an investigating judge at Munich police headquarters further today to clarify the issue of his arrest.

He was reported for, among other things, endangering road traffic, grievous bodily harm and violations of the residential law.

1340. Burglary in a restaurant – Lehel

On Sunday, August 25, 2024, between 5:10 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., a previously unknown perpetrator gained access to a restaurant in Lehel. The perpetrator stole a safe with a scratch and left the restaurant.

Thanks to a tracker in the safe, it was possible to find the safe and find it on Pfarrstrasse at number 5. The safe was not opened. It is clear that the perpetrator did not manage to break it open.

Extensive forensic investigations were carried out by the Munich criminal police.

1342. Fire – Thalkirchen

According to the current status of the investigation, a 47-year-old resident of the apartment complex was injured in the fire. She was taken to hospital for further medical treatment.
