We are looking for new owners for our Bavaria Ocean 40, who’s hearts beat for freedom, adventure, nature… and this sailboat, of course.
Over the past two and a half years, we have poured not only a lot of energy, time, and money but also a lot of passion into our sailboat, turning it into a well-equipped, neatly organized and cozy home.
Immediately after purchasing it in May 2022, we undertook a major refit that lasted several months, during which numerous systems were completely renewed. During our journey, we performed regular maintenance and took care of all necessary repairs promptly. Almost every repair was accompanied by an improvement of the respective system because we didn’t just do the repair; we thought about the possible roots of the problems and loved to eliminate them for once and all with sophisticated ideas.
You not only get a fully equipped bluewater yacht but also a cozy home. This sale includes all things you need to live onboard and to carry out repairs and maintenance (household appliances, tools, spare parts, …).

We are currently cruising Greece and intend to sell the boat on 1st October 2024. You then could choose to start a relaxed off-season tour through southern Europe, directly head to the Canaries for an Atlantic Crossing or to take your time and pull the boat out onto the (already booked) dry-dock.

Ein schwimmendes Zuhause
Für unser Segelboot Bavaria Ocean 40 suchen wir neue Eigentümer, deren Herz genauso wie unseres für Freiheit, Abenteuer, Natur und ein gemütliches (schwimmendes) Zuhause schlägt..
Während der letzten zweieinhalb Jahren haben wir nicht nur viel Energie, Zeit und Geld, sondern auch ganz viel Herz in unser Segelboot gesteckt und es zu einem gut ausgestatteten, ordentlich organisierten und gemütlichen Zuhause gemacht. Sofort nach dem Kauf im Mai 2022 hatten wir drei Monate lang ein großes Refit durchgeführt, bei dem zahlreiche Systeme komplett erneuert wurden. Während unserer Reise wurden immer turnusgemäß Wartungen durchgeführt und alle anfallenden Reparaturen sofort erledigt. Mit so gut wie jeder Reparatur ging eine Verbesserung des jeweiligen Systems einher, weil wir nicht einfach repariert haben, sondern uns Gedanken um die Ursachen gemacht hatten und es liebten, diese in Zukunft durch ausgeklügelte Ideen auszuschließen.
Ihr bekommt nicht nur eine vollwertige Blauwasser-Yacht, sondern ein schwimmendes Zuhause, in das ihr sofort einziehen könnt. Wir lassen euch alles, was ihr für diesen neuen Lebensstil benötigt an Bord (Haushaltsgeräte, Werkzeuge und haufenweise Ersatzteile).

Momentan befindet sich das Boot im Ionischen Meer in Griechenland. Es ist sehr leicht über den Flughafen Preveza (PVK) zu erreichen. Wir planen den Verkauf zum 1. Oktober 2024. Das ermöglicht euch einen optimalen Start für a) eine entspannte Tour durch das südliche Europa, außerhalb der Hochsaison, b) eine Überfahrt zu den kanarischen Inseln, um von dort im Winter 24/25 der Atlantik Richtung Karibik zu überqueren, oder c) das Boot auf dem (bereits gebuchten) Trockendock zu überwintern.
Es handelt sich hier nicht um einen unpersönlichen Verkauf. Wir haben die Absicht, euch jede mögliche Hilfestellung für das Leben und die Technik an Bord zu geben und euch den Start zu einfach wie möglich zu gestalten.
