Baumgartl dissatisfied with 1. FC Union Berlin

After Sky-Indications that a timely separation between 1. FC Union Berlin and Timo Baumgartl could be in the offing. The defender, who feels fit again after his testicular cancer diagnosis, is said to be dissatisfied with his playing time. The competition is fierce for the Iron Ones and the prospects are probably not that great. A short-term loan is therefore very possible.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Baumgartl definitely wants to get back on the pitch. The reporter even brings up a possible change within the Bundesliga, as some clubs (including Hertha BSC) are still looking for a central defender.

In order to be transferred to this winter, however, Union and PSV Eindhoven would have to give their approval. His loan from the Dutch to Berlin until the summer would have to be canceled first, only then could it continue.

In any case, the next few days should promise excitement…
