Thierry Baudet, leader of the Forum for Democracy in the House of Representatives, addressed the activists during the demonstration against the corona policy this afternoon.

He started his speech with the words “love, freedom, not a dictatorship”, which were also shouted during previous demonstrations against the corona measures.
“It’s fantastic to be here,” he said. “So many people in the Netherlands stand up against inequality, discrimination and the dictatorship that is coming our way.” He also said that vaccines are “fake” and that the Netherlands will therefore have to go back into lockdown.
The municipality called around 11.40 am to not to come to the Dam anymore because it would be too busy. Yet Baudet did not think that the police would intervene. “I am not afraid today,” said Baudet. “Look how well we’re doing, how strong we are. I’m not afraid of anything.”
The protest march departed from Dam Square around noon. Probably seaended around 3:00 PM.
