Battlefield V: update 6.0 rolls out today – news

Before the launch of chapter 6 “In the jungle” this Thursday, February 6, Battlefield V today hosts update 6.0 and the new map Solomon Islands.

The update was first deployed at 10 a.m. on PC and weighs almost 9 GB. It will then arrive on PS4 (11 a.m.) and Xbox One (12h). No major change to report on weapons, except an increase in the velocity of the Ross and Type 99. On the interface side, spotted enemies are no longer represented in the form of arrows on the minimap. Back to the diamonds, which do not show the direction in which they are looking. The patch note lists some bug fixes and mentions improvements to online server connectivity.

To discover the others major new features in Chapter 6, we will have to wait until Thursday. On the program: three weapons (Type 11 LMG, Model 37, M2 Carbine) and two gadgets (Mine Lunge, Bazooka M1A1) to unlock via chapter rewards, as well as three new Elite.
